SOL SACRIFICE

Sol Sacrifice is a special Community Conversation and Ritual Sacrifice held among the Heligoland Community during the winter solstice.

In December 2016, The Owl’s Club (Toronto) served as the Providence Keep. It was the end of a long, hard first year for the residents of Heligoland. Fresh water was scarce and the harvest was disappointing, but it was edible if not abundant.

KYLÅA ~ the residing matriarch of the community ~ invited you to join us for Indoctrination into Our Community , Edible Offering & Presentations, followed by a dance with the musical stylings of the Heligoland Fam Jam Band. The native Heligolanders staged a protest, and the fresh water pipeline project was declared a deadly disaster.
